In the center of the “central” district, is the Reichstag. It is no longer provisional as in the post-war period, after extensive renovation, it is now the actual venue of the German Parliament. Many federal ministries and representatives all have their seat in the new Central district.The “Potsdamer Square" developed into an architecturally unique residential as well as an office center with broad cultural offerings. Huge investments were made into the infrastructure and the transport planning of the new central district. The Tiergarten-tunnel is completed; the former “Lehrter Station” is now the new main Railway station of Berlin and has become the largest rail hub in Europe.

The residents love the big city life, but also their locality of their homes, and preferably like to live in the renovated old buildings of the “Spandauer” and “Rosenthaler Vorstadt” areas within Mitte.
