The listed buildings of the “Hesperides-Courts” are situated in a quiet residential street in the district of Alt-Pankow. The extensive renovation and modernization will develop, suites, lofts, apatments and studios with a unique ambience and high residential value. The unique architecture, the structure and many little details will thereby be preserved. This includes also the markedly in the sky ranging towering shafts with their wind flaps, the seemingly graceful wooden work on the roof, and the massive front facade with the typical factory building window shapes.

Alt Pankow has traditionally been a favourite place of residence. For many years the population has increased, especially through families with children. Alt Pankow is a green district. The citizens-palace and -park and the Schönholzer heath are known and loved by many in Berlin. The public transport connections are excellent. By public transport one is in 15 minutes at the Alexanderplatz and in 30 minutes at the station "Zoo". The "Friedrichstraße" is just 5 subway stations away. Not far away lies the A114 leading to the Berlin orbital Motorway.

The building, which seems with its battlements and turrets more like a castle, was the first major industrial settlement in Pankow. As early as 1874, a malt factory was built on the grounds. In the years 1881-1887, the north-eastern part of the today called "Old Malting", was built. Client was the today still famous “Schultheiß” brewery.

More than 100 homes will in the next 2 years be developed on the approximately 12,000 square meters sized premises. The spectrum ranges from the exclusive loft or the luxury two-bedroom apartment up to five-room apartments. About 30 percent of the apartments will be barrier-free. Meaning there are, for example, no door thresholds, and the apartments are either situated on the ground floor or accessible through an elevator. Further planned are 80 car parking spaces in an underground garage on the former factory site.

The courtyards will only be accessible for residents. Furthermore, a small town square will be developed, who will be accessible for the public, including a children’s playground and a kind of amphitheatre to animate cultural events. Apartment sizes of the here in the first construction phase offered 54 units range from approximately 51.90 sqm to approximately 135.45 sqm.
