The monument listed buildings were first costructed during 1894 and 1896 as a district hospital of Teltow. The main building, the administrative building, is a prime example of the then fashionable architecture, which mixed Romanesque columns with Gothic and Baroque works into then modern brickwork. Each of the brick villas has its special charm. "Villa Castanea" and "Villa Oleander" seem with their flat roofs like small palaces, "Villa Amaryllis" shows with great and extensive rooms echoes of Dutch models. At the rear part of the site about ten Park Villas will be newly built within modern architecture.

In all redeveloped houses modern technology such as floor heating in the bathroom and video intercom will be installed. The bright, natural ambience of the flats will partly be emphasised by floor-low windows. All villas will have balconies and / or terraces. Smoothened white walls, natural materials like wood or stone and a fine interior design put accents. The modern equipment underscores the charm of the historic quotations: parquet and wooden windows are originally reconstructed. The quality of the modernization in the use of equipment and the workmanship will be supervised by the TÜV (a German authority for quality control).
